GUEST artist Space Foundation residency
An earth brick barn house, built with about 40,000 handmade laterite bricks, is part of a residency at Ecology Green Farm by the Guest Artists Space Foundation, which British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare founded. The design, by the Nigerian firm MOE+ Art Architecture under the leadership of Papa Omotayo, integrates modern British barn houses with traditional Yoruba aestheticism. The facilities provided are an artist residence studio, living quarters, and facilities that are as ecologically sensitive as possible, creating an inspiring environment steeped in nature.
